rule breaking.

Yes, I am breaking every single rule of my blog. Call it “using my artistic license.” There are really only three rules to my blog, and here is how and why I’ve broken each of them:

  1. Post every day. Well, obviously I’m a day late. No, I was not watching the a Super Bowl (come on guys, do you even know me?) (Don’t answer that.), I was actually at an art show. After that I went out and my phone died and decided to take a few hours of charging before it would turn back on. I fell asleep, I’m sorry.
  2. Post a picture taken on the day it was posted. (I’ve broken this one a couple times. Oops.) These pictures were actually taken in December. Yes, December. I know, this winter has been weird. My photography teacher told me that I had one week to come up with a portfolio if I wanted to enter one into the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and I had the general plan for this shoot set, so I rushed this a bit. I am very happy with how they came out, though. πŸ™‚
  3. Only post one picture. Well, this is eight. And why am I doing this? Because yesterday was the art show and award ceremony for these pictures. I recieved an honorable mention and two scholarships, which is incredibly exciting. πŸ™‚

Basically, I’m showing off. :p (My guidance councelor called it “taking pride in my work,” but I still feel a little bit rude about it. Oh well. I hope you enjoy looking at them!

Have a lovely day. πŸ™‚
